Lee of Economic Development for Central Oregon (EDCO); Caroline Lewis of Rogue Venture Partners; and David Solomon, of Lightspeed Technologies Inc.

Portland, Ore. – Oct. 17, 2018 – Young Entrepreneurs Business Week announces it will launch programs at Oregon State University - Cascades for the first time in the summer of 2019. Partnership with OSU-Cascades, based in Bend, Ore., allows YEBW to better serve youth and business professionals across Central Oregon and statewide.

Role: Serving as the key assistant and point of contact for the Director of Communications and Volunteer Relations during YEBW programs.

Young Entrepreneurs Business Week (YEBW) is looking for a results-driven Student Engagement Associate who can help contact prospective students for YEBW 2018 and manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases for alumni and partner engagement.

Young Entrepreneurs Business Week is a fun, fast-paced program to help high school students discover future goals and opportunities. Students run their own mock businesses, while while they explore college, careers, industries and more!

Young Entrepreneurs Business Week is the ultimate opportunity for high school students to advance themselves personally and professionally. Students learn how to create and innovate business ideas, while they develop leadership, teamwork, public speaking and other skills.

In 2016, Young Entrepreneurs Business Week emerged as the experiential business education initiative for Oregon youth, reaching more than 1,700 students since 2006.

At Young Entrepreneurs Business Week 2016 at University of Oregon, Aug. 7 to 13, more than 140 high school students learned about business and leadership from real entrepreneurs, executives and business professionals. At YEBW, students build and run their own mock companies, while they stay and study on campus.

At Young Entrepreneurs Business Week 2016 at University of Portland, July 10 to 16, more than 100 high school students from across Oregon congregated on campus for one week to learn about business and leadership from real entrepreneurs, executives and business professionals. At YEBW, students build and run their own mock companies, while they stay and study on campus.

At Young Entrepreneurs Business Week 2016, July 24 to 30, more than 150 high school students visited Oregon State University to learn about business and leadership for one week. At YEBW, students build and run their own mock companies, while they stay and study on campus.
