YEBW College Credit

For each week of YEBW that you or your student attends, they have the option to earn one transferable undergraduate college credit from Oregon State University. This is a great opportunity for you or your student to jump-start a college career at a fraction of the normal cost. In fact, there is a cost savings of 65-82% depending on your (student’s) individual status.

Things to note when deciding to receive college credit:

  • You (or your student) are eligible for 1 credit for each week you (or your student) participates in a YEBW Camp.

    • This credit is a transferable business administration credit. It transfers to most universities as an elective course, but some colleges and universities do not accept the transfer. You will need to discuss with the university you (or your student) plans to attend to see if it is accepted or not.

  • You (or your student) will be financially responsible to pay for each credit you (or your student) decides to register at OSU. This must happen within OSU Registration and Billing deadlines (or interest will be charged).

    • **Estimated costs are $212 per credit (this is summer 2019 tuition) but actual costs will be updated in early May 2020.

  • You (or your student) will need to do a non-degree admission application (including a $30 processing fee), if you (or your student) are not already admitted to OSU, including all steps in the admissions process.

  • You (or your student) must abide by all deadlines set by OSU Admissions and Registration. Failure to abide by deadlines set-forth will make you ineligible to register for and receive college credit.
