Food
Three meals a day are provided for students except for Sunday (arrival day); only dinner will be served. Meals are served buffet-style so that students may make their own food selections while taking into consideration any dietary modifications they may need.
Clothing
Informal, casual attire is appropriate for the majority of YEBW.
Shoes and shirts are required in the dining halls, meetings and general assemblies.
Business professional attire is required during the Friday Presentations. Example: dress/skirt/slacks/blouse/button-up/blazer/tie.
The Etiquette Dinner on Wednesday is business casual; dresses/blouse/lacks/nice jeans/sport jackets are appropriate.
Clothing or jewelry that references alcohol, drugs, gangs or violence are prohibited. Dress that constitutes a safety hazard or disrupts the optimum learning environment is discouraged at the discretion of YEBW Staff.
What to Bring
Bedding - sheets, comforter, pillow and towel(s) not provided
Laptop or tablet
Phone + electronic charger cords
T-shirts
Jacket or sweater
Shorts and jeans
Gym clothes and sneakers (for recreational activities)
Pajamas
Professional Dress clothing (for Wednesday's Etiquette Dinner and Friday's Presentations)
Personal Items (i.e. soap, toothpaste, sunscreen, feminine products, etc.)
Sunglasses
Snacks for between meals (optional)
Spending money (the cafe will be available for purchase)
Aspirin,Tylenol, allergy, and prescription medication (YEBW will NEVER administer over-the-counter medication - you must bring your own.)

Note: YEBW will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items. Dorms are secure and lockable.

9:00am - 11:30am: Move In

Parking near residence Hall is open and free
10:30am - 11:30am: College credit registration session
Buckley Hall, 5000 N Willamette Blvd, Portland, OR
Required for student + parent/guardian if planning to earn college credit for your week at YEBW
12:00pm - 1:00pm: Kickoff Ceremony
Buckley Center Auditorium, 5000 N Willamette Blvd, Portland, OR
Students:
At check-in, you will meet the YEBW team, receive orientation details and collect your dorm room key. Please allow at least 30 minutes for check-in and dorm move-in. When complete, you are welcome to explore campus. It is your responsibility to eat lunch prior to the beginning of the program.
If you bring your car to YEBW, you must give your keys to the YEBW Office during check-in, as car use is not permitted during the week. You will get your keys at check-out.
**Room assignments are final. No room changes can be made at check-in.
Parents/Guardians:
YEBW Kickoff will begin promptly at 12 pm We highly encourage parents or guardians to attend, though not required. Students are not permitted to leave the program (or campus) until the conclusion of the Closing Ceremonies, unless accompanied by a parent, guardian, or special arrangement.

Parking on campus is open and free
Students show off what their team has been working on throughout the week
1:00pm - 2:00pm: Closing Ceremony
Buckley Center Auditorium, 5000 N Willamette Blvd, Portland, OR
2:00pm - 3:00pm: Move out
Schoenfeldt Hall, Portland, OR
Prior to departure, all students must return room keys to YEBW
Key replacements are $90 and are the responsibility of the student, parent or guardian if lost
Parents/guardians will be responsible for any and all damage to residence hall rooms or other school property caused by their child
