Advocate Impact

If you have experienced the power of Young Entrepreneurs Business Week, share the opportunity with new students and business leaders…

Refer a student.

Do you know high school students, between ages 14 and 18, who are looking for a rewarding challenge? Whether it’s your teen, sibling, neighbor or friend, YEBW is a program all young people should experience.

Urge them to become a YEBW Student. This week-long program focuses on hands-on business curriculum, activities and competitions—designed to build competency, communication skills, college credit, career direction and confidence. Many students come away with life-long leadership skills, mentors and friends.

Refer a volunteer.

Do you know business and community leaders who support youth business education? Whether it’s your employee, colleague, client or friend, YEBW will amaze…

Invite them to become a YEBW Judge. This one-day volunteer role entails evaluating business presentations from high school students who want real-world feedback on how to improve. This opportunity is ideal for entrepreneurs, executives, managers and community leaders who want to help coach and cultivate tomorrow’s leaders.

Encourage them to become a YEBW Company Advisor. This rewarding, week-long volunteer role involves guiding a team of students to conquer business management objectives, project deadlines and team-building exercises. This opportunity is ideal for mid-level or senior-level managers, small business owners and independent agents who want to mentor and motivate young people to grow personally and professionally—while also enhancing their own leadership skills.
